Do you remember the bed bugs on British Airways debacle? Admittedly, after deep cleaning their planes, this should now be less of a problem. That said, you are not safe anywhere!

She is not the only hotel guest to sue. Alex and Martha McKindra checked into the Hilton Garden Inn Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga while visiting their son in California. They got bitten to pieces and claimed that the hotel knew of the bed bug infestation both before and after the incident. The result? A jury awarded more than $500,000. The family’s attorney, Brian Virag, said he believes it is the biggest bedbug payout in U.S. history.

For that kind of money, you may find some guests will actively seek Hiltons with bedbugs!
