If you are UK based, you will know that we have been suffering from extremely high winds thanks to Storm Erik, which has battered the UK. As a result, there have been all sorts of flight problems and disruptions.
Just one emergency was the Emirates flight detailed below which was trying and failing to land in London. After the second try, the fuel gauge started flashing red (OK, the fuel monitor is more sophisticated than that on these planes) and the flight was forced to divert to Manchester.
