News: Higher oil prices take toll on Emirates profits

Emirates Group has seen profits fall by nearly half as the rising price of oil and strong US dollar took a toll on annual results. The Dubai-based group posted a profit of AED2.3 billion (US$631 million) for the financial year ended March 31st, down 44 per cent from last year.
