San Diego hotel restaurants and their amazing chefs have put together creative menus and even some opportunities to take a prepared feast home with you in this most uncommon year. Where to Have Thanksgiving Day Dinner in San Diego

Hotel del Coronado

If you envision Thanksgiving dinner in San Diego involving al fresco dining and ocean views, Serea delivers. The sea-to-table restaurant is offering a three-course menu featuring seared tuna tatouche, white truffle winter squash bisque, slow-roasted and lightly smoked turkey, mountain berry apple crumble, and more.
Enhance the meal further if you like with family-style options, including whole roasted two-pound Baja striped sea bass, beef tenderloin roast, and whole roasted spaghetti squash. Choose indoor or outdoor seating.

Crown Room

An elegant Thanksgiving dinner will be offered this November 26 in the historic Crown Room, with three lavish courses set to feature all of the favorite, traditional trimmings from a prix fixe menu.
Guests will be seated at socially distanced tables for the 90-minute dinner. Thanksgiving Day also marks the launch of Holiday at The Del, which will include a winter wonderland-themed display on Windsor Lawn.

Chef Brandon Sloan has put together a delicious 3-course prix fixe menu at Provisional, Pendry San Diego‘s restaurant-marketplace. Courses include a choice of butternut squash soup; date, bacon, and goat cheese tart; or brown butter gnocchi with smoked duck breast, celery root, and apple. The next course selections include braised snake river farms short rib and persimmon mustard glazed salmon with sunchoke puree, crispy sunchoke, and sorrel. Finally, choose a fall dessert: roasted vanilla apple or pecan cream pie.

Reservations for Thanksgiving Day dinners at the lovely Rancho Bernardo Inn can be made on OpenTable (parties larger than 8 people need to contact the hotel directly).
AVANT
On Thanksgiving Day in San Diego, guests can experience a specialty four-course lunch or dinner menu of Thanksgiving classics with an elevated twist at Rancho Bernardo Inn’s signature restaurant, AVANT. Diners will have three or four choices per course that include the likes of juniper-marinated beef tartare, potato leek soup, Diestel turkey roulade, Snake River Farms wagyu strip, and, of course, pumpkin pie.

Prepared Chef Meals for Dinner at Home
If you’re not ready to eat out or would prefer to skip cooking this year, have no fear. San Diego chefs will send you home with full Thanksgiving dinners or even just pumpkin pies.

Rancho Valencia Full Meals
Rancho Valencia will also be offering a full a la carte meal prepped, cooked, packaged, and ready to reheat at home. You can pre-order through the resort’s website (link to come) with pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Standout offerings that come oven-ready and with heating instructions include canapés, starters and soups, turkey, short-rib, sides, sauces, and complete with various pies and desserts.
Hotel del Coronado Meals for 10-12
If your family runs on the larger side or if you crave leftovers for days, Hotel del Coronado chefs are happy to step in. Pick up large meals that feed 10-12 at Sheerwater on November 25 between 4–7 p.m. We’re talking about traditional favorites that include a whole roasted turkey, sour cream mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberries, and more. The price is $725. Check back for ordering information as it’s not yet available.
